More About Me...

The Psycho Ex Wife is the true account of a marriage, divorce, and subsequent custody fight between a loving man, his terroristic ex-wife who we suspect suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder (at least from our armchair psychologist diagnosis), and the husband's new partner. We are not simply anti-mother or pro-father ... Read more

The lack of basic parenting is made all that more ironic in the face of being attacked for literally every parenting decision you make. That is the BPD pathology.

    My latest example:

DS2 got in trouble in school the other day. School calls me, I get the story, and leave PEW a message to call me (discussion with Principal is serious enough reason to talk live). 4 days later she still has not called, so I call her and guess what……the school is picking on him, the teacher hates him, the bus driver hates him, his friends are a bad influence, and it is all my fault cause I took him out of the Catholic School and put him in the public school.

The fact that she supported the school change does not factor in, the fact that maybe the kid is making some bad choices in behavior as a 6th grader (which would be developmentally about right) does not factor in, the fact that basic punishment could correct the behaviors does not factor in….she just needs to blame and rage, rage and blame, blame and rage, rage and blame…..having kids for her is just a convenient place to find material to support her blame and rage, rage and blame, blame and rage.

    Life in BPD-land.

I know that all too well… and I know you’ve read my recent “Different Approaches” series. It’s another one of those “common themes” amongst these types of personalities.

I also know you probably meant this for the “follow-up” post on the computer issue. ;)
